Concept and Creative Direction for the FRIENDS final Coffee Table Book

My work on the Friends coffee table book for Warner Bros. was a milestone project that began with an unexpected opportunity. Warner Bros.’ Kevin Bricklin reached out, half-jokingly suggesting I submit designs, saying, “You probably won’t get it.” Motivated by the challenge, I secured the project, beating out several well-known book designers with a concept that was quickly embraced by producers Bright/Kaufman/Crane during our face-to-face presentation. The concept—“9 Seasons, 9 Chapters, 9 Figureheads”—dedicated each chapter to one of the six actors and three producers, celebrating their contributions to one of TV’s most iconic series.
